LLC: What is your secret productivity tip?

LB: Set goals and stick to them. I also have a life coach that keeps me accountable if I am setting a personal and/or professional goals.

LLC: What’s the first thing you do when you get out of bed?

LB: Pray and thank God for another day.

LLC:What’s your favorite thing to eat that gives you energy?

LB: Almonds, preferably smoked or truffled.

LLC: What's your favorite form of exercise?

LB: I like to mix it up to keep it fresh and also to ensure that my body doesn’t plateau with one exercise. I exercise an average of 4 days per week.I love reformer Pilates, and one of my fave workouts in Atlanta is Sculpthouse which mixes the mega reformer with a curved/manual treadmill. INTENSE!

LLC: Tell us about your relationship with your smart phone?

LB:Probably like most people, I am tethered to it. If I am in a meeting, I try to be present, so I will silence it and keep it in my bag. If I’m with friends, I think we should try to be present and enjoy the moment. There is nothing more annoying. It's next to my because I don’t have a land line so if anything happens, I need that phone next to me.

LLC: How do you deal with email?

LB: In the order of importance and I rarely stop what I am doing to respond. Rarely is something that pressing.

LLC: What’s your favorite technology or app that helps you stay organized?

LB: My calendar on my phone. I am also a fan of hand written To Do lists.

LLC: What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?

LB: I know it sounds trite, but “You can do anything you put your mind to” that works for me as long as it doesn’t involve math.

LLC: What song lifts you up in any situation and makes you feel limitless?

LB: Titanium is a new favorite.

LLC: Share a quote that helps you stay grounded ...

LB: 5x5 Rule: If it won’t matter in 5 years, don’t spend more than 5 minutes being upset over it. #RealTalk

LLC: Name a book that changed your life and why?

LB: “The Seat of the Soul” by Gary Zukav. It was the first spiritual book that I read (circa 1999) that broke down intentionality, and honing your thoughts as thoughts become things. It also hit home about a living a conscious life (where the intentions of your soul intersect with the intentions of your life) on a daily basis, bringing both into alignment. A Game Changer!

LLC: What is your philosophy for dealing with failure and overcoming obstacles in life?

LB: Failure is the best teacher. Learn from your mistakes and retool. “Fall down 7 times, get up 8” - Japanese Proverb.

LLC: What's your best tip for balancing work, family and personal relationships?

LB: They key word here is balance. You have to be intentional about balance and work on it.

LLC: What is your definition of a limitless life?

LB: A balanced life where you set your goals and objectives and execute. It is also a balanced life, one where you chase your dreams and execute. You are not defined by other people’s expectations or limitations placed on you. You are INTENTIONAL about every aspect of your life.

LLC:What is your spirit animal?

LB: A tiger. I live by my raw feelings and emotions. The tiger spirit animal symbolizes primal instincts, unpredictability, and ability to trust yourself. That is ME in a nutshell.
